Every year the Design in Wood Exhibition, which is co-sponsored by the San Diego County Fair, 22nd District Agricultural Association and the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association, judges woodworking entries from all around the world. There are 21 different classes including; Traditional Furniture, Clocks, Wood Carving, and Wood Turning. This year there were over 300 entries from countries all over the world and over $20,000 in money and prizes awarded.
The winning entries are displayed at the San Diego County Fair held in Del Mar, California from June 11th to July 5th, 2010. Please plan on attending and make sure you cast your vote for the “People’s Choice” Award presented by Woodworker West at the end of the fair.
